FitTimer: Shuffle Workouts

Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 August 2026

FitTimer collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services of any kind. Everything the app remembers is stored on your own device and is never transmitted anywhere.

What the app stores

So your setup survives closing the app, FitTimer saves a few small values on your device:

None of this identifies you. In the web version it lives in your browser's localStorage; clearing your browser's site data for this site erases all of it. In the iOS app it lives in the app's own storage, and deleting the app erases all of it.

What the app does not do

The only network requests the web version makes are to this same website, to load the app's own exercise illustrations and voice clips.

Apple Health (iOS and Apple Watch apps)

If you choose to turn it on, the iOS app can write a completed workout to Apple Health. On Apple Watch, the app can additionally read your heart rate during an active workout, solely to show it live on the watch screen while you exercise. Both are explicit permissions you grant, and you can withdraw either at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Health.

Health data is stored by Apple on your device, is not readable by the developer, and is never transmitted anywhere by FitTimer. Your heart rate is only displayed in the moment — FitTimer keeps no copy of it. Beyond that in-workout heart rate on the watch, the app never reads any of your existing Health data — it only writes the workout you just finished.

Children

FitTimer is a general-audience workout timer. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Because the app collects nothing, a change would most likely reflect a new feature rather than any new data collection.
